Zuckerberg said that the fight against coronavirus in the United States is ineffective

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the administration of US President Donald Trump is ineffective in managing the fight against coronavirus.

“By now, it is clear that the schedule [of infection] in the United States is much worse than in many other countries, and our government and administration are much less effective in dealing with this,” Zuckerberg said Director of the National Institute of Allergy and infectious diseases of the United States Anthony Fauci.

Initially, Zuckerberg “was positive” about the decisions of the American authorities, because he believed that the coronavirus would manifest itself regardless of attempts to fight it, but then changed his point of view.

“I regret that testing is still not carried out at the proper level, that the authority of recognized specialists such as you (Fauci), and the Federal Centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) is being questioned,” the head of the company added.

He also expressed bewilderment that the authorities doubted the need to comply with “basic practices, such as wearing a mask.”

A week ago, the US set another record for the growth of coronavirus per day, 66 thousand 627 cases of infection were registered.

Recall that in June, the chief infectious disease specialist of the United States, Anthony Fauci did not rule out that the increase in cases of coronavirus in the country may increase by two and a half times – up to 100 thousand daily.
