ZTE teases the new Axon 30 Pro smartphone

The recently presented flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has already managed to top the DxOMark rating as the best camera phone on the market, but it seems to have a worthy competitor in the face of the ZTE Axon 30 Pro.

This is hinted at by Ni Fei, head of ZTE’s smartphone business, who said the ZTE Axon 30 Pro will receive “the most powerful camera of 2021.” Unfortunately, he did not reveal any details.

But ZTE has released an advertising poster that indicates the presence of four sensors in the main camera. We already know that three of them will receive 64MP resolution. In other words, the camera has a total of about 200 megapixels on the back. The company calls this system Trinity. By the way, this will be the first smartphone with such a solution on the market.

What the fourth module will be is still unknown, but, most likely, this is an additional module with a low resolution for shooting macro or black and white photos.

In addition, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro is credited with an updated sub-screen camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. No official announcement date has yet been announced, but it is rumored to be on April 30th.
