Naturally, we are talking about only two models: Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. Both new items went on sale in mid-August and immediately became bestsellers. The first batch was sold out in 5 minutes. The tablets returned to store shelves three days later, but on September 2, the company announced a shortage.
The RAM expansion technology for Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro is so far only available in the beta version of the MIUI for Pad software. The tablets are equipped with 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory, that is, in addition, users can add another 2 GB or 3 GB to 6 GB of RAM, respectively.
Update: looks like Xiaomi Pad 5 series got that feature in Beta ROMs as well.

Recall that POCO F3 received a stable global version of MIUI 12.5 with support for Memory Fusion, but when the amount of RAM increases, the smartphone starts to reboot spontaneously.
