Xiaomi released Android 10 for Redmi 8A in the global market

Xiaomi does not often update its budget smartphones to the current version of the Android OS, but it seems that Redmi 8A users are lucky in this regard.

The developers have rolled out a stable version of Android 10 for the device. The owners of smartphones in the global market, including Europe, have already started receiving the firmware. The update has build number V11.0.1.0.QCPEUXM/V11.0.1.0.QCPRUXM/V11.0.1.0.QCPMIXM and weighs in at 1.76 GB.

There are no major changes in the firmware. Among the innovations, it is worth noting the August security patch. In addition, the developers have improved the stability of the software, as well as installed major changes to Android 10, including advanced privacy and location settings.
