Xiaomi unexpectedly presented a new smartphone of the Redmi Note 10 line in Japan.
The device was named Redmi Note 10 JE (Japan Edition?). The novelty is very similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G model but differs from it in some parameters. First of all, the device was equipped with a 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor (instead of MediaTek Dimensity 700) and a battery reduced from 5000 to 4800 mAh. In addition, Redmi Note 10 JE received full protection against water and dust IP68, as well as support for the FeliCa contactless payment system, developed by Sony specifically for the Japanese market.
