As expected, the device received the prefix 2021 in the name. Externally, the novelty remains the same, but the characteristics have changed slightly. The main difference between a smartphone is its processor. Instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip, the device received a more powerful SoC Mediatek Helio G85. It is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of ROM.
Other specifications of Redmi Note 8 (2021) remain the same. The smartphone received a 6.3-inch FHD + IPS-display, a 4000 mAh battery, 18-watt charging, a USB-C port, a 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP main camera, a 13 MP front camera, a fingerprint scanner on the back side, support for two SIM and microSD, 3.5 mm jack, as well as a plastic case with a P2i coating. There is no NFC module in the device.
Redmi Note 8 (2021) has already appeared on the official global Xiaomi website, but so far without a price tag and launch date. It is only known that the smartphone will be sold in Europe in three colors: Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black.
