Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra could be the first smartphone with a sub-screen camera. But not for everyone

On August 11, in honor of its 10th anniversary, Xiaomi will present the new flagship Mi 10 Ultra. And the closer the announcement, the more leaks about this device in the network.

Smartphone is not for everyone

According to the founder of the research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch Ross Young, most likely, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will receive a sub-screen front camera, that is, it will be hidden under glass, and there will be no cutouts on the screen.

According to Young, not everyone will be able to buy it: rather, Xiaomi will release the smartphone as a demo product in order to showcase the new technology. The production volumes of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra are very small.

Also, the smartphone is credited with two versions – with a ceramic back panel and a transparent glass. The first will be available in 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB configurations, the second – with 12/256 GB and even 16/512 GB.

In addition, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra should receive a top-end Snapdragon 865+ processor, an AMOLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz and FHD + resolution, a 4500 mAh battery with 100 W or 120 W fast wired charging and 55 W wireless charging.

Together with Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition smartphone and the new OLED TV of the Mi TV Master family will be presented on August 11.
