Xiaomi in November last year announced a smartwatch Mi Watch (cover photo) in China, and now it seems to be preparing a simplified version of it.
Journalists of the Indian edition of MySmartPrice noticed the manufacturer’s new smartwatch in the FCC database. According to the leak, the device comes with the name Mi Watch Lite and the model number RedmiWT02. Most likely, this means that in some regions they will be released under the Redmi brand.
The watch will be equipped with a 1.41-inch square HD-touch display. It will support automatic brightness control. In addition, the documents say that the gadget will receive a 24-hour heart rate monitoring function, water protection, support for various sports modes, and a 230 mAh battery. It will be possible to connect the new product to Android and iOS devices.
Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite will cost less than $185 (starting price tag of regular Mi Watch). There is no information yet when they enter the market.
