Xiaomi is preparing to release Redmi Note 8 (2021) with MediaTek Helio G85 chip

According to several Twitter insiders, Xiaomi is working on a new version of the Redmi Note 8 smartphone, which entered the market in 2019.

The device has already passed the FCC certification and even “lit up” on the official website of the manufacturer with the name Redmi Note 8 (2021).

The novelty, according to the source, is codenamed Biloba. The main difference between the device will be the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. In addition, the Redmi Note 8 (2021) is also credited with an IPS display with a teardrop notch and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a quad camera with a 48 MP main sensor, and a battery 4000 mAh with fast charging at 22.5 W.
