Xiaomi in August last year announced the Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone, and is now preparing its successor for the release.
According to the insider @xiaomiui, the new product will be called the Redmi K40 Ultra. The device will compete with OnePlus Nord 2 and will run on the same processor MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Recall, this is a 6-nanometer SoC, which was announced in January. It has three 2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 cores, one 3.0 GHz Cortex-A78 core and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The processor is equipped with a Mali G77 MC9 video accelerator and a built-in 5G modem.
2. Redmi will release device with MTK Dimensity SOC. It is expected to be called the Redmi K40 Ultra (agate/amber) and be a competitor to the OnePlus Nord 2. Like its rival Nord 2, it will get its power from the Dimensity 1200.

Unfortunately, there are no other details about the Redmi K40 Ultra yet. Presumably it will be presented in the coming months. The device will look similar to other models in this line: Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro + and Redmi K40 Game Edition.
We will remind, Xiaomi in August plans to show the MIUI 13 shell. Together with it, the concept flagship Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 should debut.
