Xiaomi introduced the e-book InkPalm 5 mini

Xiaomi has announced a fundraising campaign for its new e-book under the InkPalm brand on the Youpin crowdfunding platform.

“Reader” was named InkPalm 5 mini and it boasts compact dimensions. The device received a 115 grams plastic case, 6.9 mm thick, as well as a 5.2-inch Ink-display with a resolution of 1280 × 720p and a pixel density of 284ppi. The panel is covered with tempered glass and supports 24 brightness levels. A touch button in the form of a company logo was placed under the device screen. You can use it to control your gadget.

Powered by InkPalm 5 mini on a quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. The gadget is powered by a 1400 mAh battery. Out of the box, the device has the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Jingdong Reading, Variety Reading, WeChat Reading, Kindle Reading and Handy Reading services. By the way, the “reader” supports third-party applications.

The InkPalm 5 mini can be purchased now on Xiaomi Youpin for $ 91. It is not yet known when the device will be available for sale.
