Xiaomi, as promised, has announced its next budget smartphone in India. The novelty was named Redmi 9i.
The device turned out to be almost a complete copy of the Redmi 9A. The only difference between the device is the increased amount of memory. The smartphone has 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and has two storage options: 64 GB or 128 GB. For comparison, the Redmi 9A is only sold in 2/32 GB or 3/32 GB versions.
All other specifications of the novelty remained the same. It is a 6.53-inch HD + IPS display and a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. In addition, the Redmi 9i has a 13-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 5000 mA battery with 10 W charging, a Micro USB port, a headphone jack, as well as a hybrid SIM and MicroSD card slot. The device comes with MIUI 12 shell on board.
Redmi 9i sales will start in India on September 18 with a price tag of $ 113. There will be three colors available: Nature Green, Sea Blue, and Midnight Black. Whether such a device will appear in our country is unknown.
