Rocket League is coming to Android and iOS

Rocket League has taken a course for Android from iOS, only it will not arrive on the platforms in person, but will send its “mobile copy”.

The Mobile Rocket League has been subtitled Sideswipe, and along with the new title, players will receive an updated gameplay. Firstly, the developers have changed the camera angle, and now the players will watch what is happening from the side.

Secondly, the scale of matches has also decreased: arenas have become more compact, and battles will take place in a 1v1 or 2v2 format. Each match is allotted about 2 minutes.

“Rocket League Sideswipe will have mobile controls that are easy to understand whether you’re a Rocket League master or a new player still mastering their way across the field. Plus, there is advanced mechanics, just like in the Rocket League, for those who want to compete for ranks in a competitive game, ”the developers write.

The release is scheduled for 2021 for iOS and Android, but users in Australia and New Zealand can already participate in the limited-time alpha via Google Play.
