Xiaomi has released its TV box in China called Mi Box 4S

The company Xiaomi, as promised, has released today in China its “new” TV-box called Mi Box 4S.

Unfortunately, the device’s specifications are no different from the Mi Box 4 (aka Mi Box 4K in the global market), which debuted back in 2018. The set-top box received the same 64-bit Amlogic S905X processor with ARM Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali 450 video accelerator, 2 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory. The device supports 4K 60fps (H.265) video, HDR, Dolby Audio, and DTS Sound.

Of the ports in Mi Box 4S, there is one HMDI 2.0, one USB 2.0, AV, and a headphone jack. Naturally, the gadget contains Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) modules. The set-top box is supplied with a proprietary PatchWall UI system and a control panel. It has a microphone and several control buttons, including a separate one for launching the voice assistant.

Xiaomi Mi Box 4S is already available for pre-order in China at a promotional price of $43 and only in white.
