Xiaomi has no plans to release 200W ultra-fast HyperCharge charging this year

Xiaomi in May showed a prototype 200W HyperCharge super-fast charging, and now it became known when its commercial version will hit the market.

HyperCharge shouldn’t be expected this year, according to a report from the Chinese publication MyDrivers. Mass production of such an ultra-fast charger can only begin in June 2022. By the way, the report also says that the new technology will debut along with the line of smartphones Xiaomi Mi 12. Most likely, we are talking about the top model Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra.

Recall that HyperCharge technology includes 200W wired charging and 120W wireless charging. Such charging is capable of charging a 4000 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 8 minutes over the wire and in 15 minutes over the wire. This is still a record figure in the market. By the way, Xiaomi conducted HyperCharge tests on a special version of the Mi 11 Pro smartphone.
