“China, always adhering to the principles of openness, transparency and responsibility, promptly informed who and other countries about the epidemiological situation, and published the virus gene sequence without delay,” Xi Jinping said. According to the Chinese President, China openly shared full information about the measures taken to combat the spread of COVID-19, as well as about the methods of treatment.

In particular, within two years, Beijing is ready to allocate $ 2 billion to support States affected by the epidemic. “To encourage international cooperation against COVID-19, China will provide $ 2 billion over the next two years to help fight coronavirus and for socio-economic development in affected countries, especially in developing countries,” he said. In cooperation with the UN, a global warehouse and hub will also be established in China to ensure the supply of anti-epidemic drugs to countries in need. A “green” customs corridor will be organized for the export of these funds, the Chinese President said.
Xi Jinping noted that it is necessary to stop the spread of the virus as soon as possible. WHO should play a central role in the fight against the pandemic.
To help African countries, the PRC will create 30 unique mechanisms that will facilitate the provision of assistance to African hospitals.
