WHO told whether the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is suitable for children

The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of experts concluded that the coronavirus vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech is suitable for children aged 12 and older.

“The WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts has concluded that the Pfizer/Biotech vaccine is suitable for use by people aged 12 years and older. Children aged 12 to 15 years who are in the high-risk category can be offered this vaccine along with other priority vaccination groups,” the updated WHO recommendations say.
