WHO will not approve any coronavirus vaccine that is not completely safe and effective, and is waiting for results from all states where vaccines are undergoing phase three trials, World Health Organization spokeswoman Margaret Harris said at a briefing on Tuesday.
“No vaccine currently in use has completed the third phase of testing. All our partners report their activity to us. What WHO would like to see is clear information about vaccines and results. As the WHO Director-General has stated, we will not approve any vaccine that is not completely safe and has not been proven effective,” she said.
