White House: Any specific territory can request assistance from the Federal government

The head of the White House staff said that the administration is ready to provide any state with law enforcement support.

US President Donald Trump is ready to send reinforcements from Federal law enforcement officers to any Governor, both Republican, and Democrat, who makes such a request, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Sunday.

“We are ready. The President is ready to provide any possible law enforcement support that we have,” Meadows said, speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press” program.

“Any Governor, Republican or Democrat, any particular territory can request assistance from the Federal government. We are ready to come, and we are ready to provide additional forces, as we did in Kenosha,” mark meadows added.
