Which Huawei and Honor smartphones won’t update to EMUI 10.1

The EMUI 10.1 shell was presented in March along with the flagship Huawei P40. It contains many useful changes. For example, the Huawei MeeTime video calling application, the control panel for multiple devices, the Huawei Share function, which allows you to quickly exchange files between the company’s smartphones, the Celia voice assistant, and an updated gallery with shared access to Huawei devices on the same network and the same Huawei ID. However, not all devices will receive the update.

Huawei Central has published a list of Huawei and Honor devices that will not receive or are still waiting for the firmware. By the way, some of them got EMUI 10.1 in China. However, it is not confirmed why the company has been shipping the same update to global users for so long.

So in the list:

  • Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 (questionable)
  • Honor 9X (questionable)
  • Honor 9X Pro (questionable)
  • Huawei P Smart 2019
  • Huawei P Smart + 2019
  • Huawei P30 Lite
