Earlier this year, Motorola announced a partnership with the British manufacturer Bulit Group, and now, four months later, the company announced their joint product – Motorola Defy 2021.
This is the first Defy smartphone since 2012. He received a shock-resistant case and “filling”, like the Moto G9 Play. That is, the smartphone was equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS panel. It has HD+ resolution and is covered with tempered Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. There is a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen for the 8MP front camera. The case in the smartphone is plastic. It received a carabiner hole and IP68 certification. According to Motorola, the smartphone is not afraid of falls from a height of up to 1.8 meters. Also, the device can operate at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C.
On the back of the Motorola Defy 2021, they placed a fingerprint scanner and a triple main camera. The main sensor received a resolution of 48 MP. It is complemented by two 2 MP sensors (macromodule and depth sensor). The novelty is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chip paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. Also, the device was equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. It supports 20W fast charging. The smartphone comes with the Android 11 operating system and the proprietary Moto UX shell.
Motorola Defy 2021 will go on sale in Europe next week. They will ask for € 325 for the device.
