Wendy’s removes burgers from the menu in some establishments due to a shortage of meat

The company pointed to problems faced by meat suppliers in North America.

American fast-food chain Wendy’s is excluding burgers from the menu in some establishments due to a shortage of meat in the United States caused by a coronavirus.

“As you’ve probably already heard, beef suppliers across North America are facing production problems,” the company said in a statement sent to Fox Business News.

“Because of this, in the current situation, some restaurants may occasionally show a lack of certain menu items,” the statement said.
