We went to the pharmacy and got vaccinated: Justin Trudeau and his wife were vaccinated by AstraZeneca

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie were vaccinated against the coronavirus with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The couple was vaccinated in one of the pharmacies in Ottawa.

“Today, it was our turn to get vaccinated, which Sophie and I did. We are pleased about this! – the politician wrote on Twitter.

He also called on his fellow citizens to sign up for vaccination more actively. In the province of Ontario, where the capital — Ottawa-is located, all residents over 40 years old have already received an invitation to get vaccinated.

It is worth noting that a year ago, Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau fell ill with coronavirus after a trip abroad. The Prime Minister of Canada then went into self-isolation.
