The World Boxing Council (WBC) has confirmed that the winner of the World Heavyweight Championship fight between British boxer Tyson Fury and American Deontay Wilder will have to defend his title against Britain’s Dillian White in his next fight, Sky Sports reported.
This was stated by WBC President Mauricio Suleiman.
As previously reported, the third fight between Fury and Wilder could take place on December 19. The first fight between boxers in December 2018 ended in a draw. In the second fight of Fury on February 22 in Las Vegas, he defeated Wilder by TKO and took away the WBC heavyweight title, which the American successfully defended ten times. A few days after the fight, Wilder took advantage of the option of a rematch.
