More than 100 diplomats flew to Guangzhou via Seoul.

More than 100 American diplomats and their families have flown to China. This became known from the internal e-mail correspondence of the State Department.

Washington has begun implementing plans to re-equip the diplomatic mission, which was evacuated in February due to the coronavirus epidemic.

A commercial Charter flight took off from the airport. Dulles near Washington to the South Korean capital of Seoul, where passengers made a transfer to go to the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
According to an e-mail seen by Reuters, additional flights are planned for the return of the diplomats.
