Washington imposes new restrictions in connection with the coronavirus

The city authorities have placed restrictions on gatherings of people in homes and on the streets, restaurants, and religious institutions.

In the US capital, restrictions have been tightened due to coronavirus’s growing incidence, and stricter anti-epidemic protocols have been introduced.

Washington mayor Muriel Bowser imposed a ban on gatherings of people in rooms of more than 10 people. In particular, he will address the dinner on the occasion of Thanksgiving because it comes into effect on Wednesday. It is forbidden to gather in groups of more than 25 people on the streets.

Under Bowser’s order, “live” entertainment events and indoor training are also prohibited.

The number of people who can gather in houses of worship has been reduced from 100 to 50.

Restaurants must close no later than midnight and stop selling alcohol after 22 hours.
