At the end of last year, Vivo launched the low-cost smartphone Vivo Y52s on the market, and today, on June 9, showed its successor called Vivo Y53s 5G.
The novelty has received a 6.58-inch display with an IPS-matrix, FHD + resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a teardrop notch for an 8 MP front camera. Instead of a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chip, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC was installed under the hood of the smartphone. It is built on 8-nanometer process technology and has eight cores, as well as an integrated Snapdragon X51 modem for the fifth-generation network.
On the back of the Vivo Y53s 5G, there is a dual main camera. 64MP main sensor. It is complemented by a 2 MP macro lens with a focal length of 4 cm. The device also received a 5000 mAh battery, 18-watt charging, a side fingerprint scanner and Android 11 out of the box with the OriginOS 1.0 proprietary shell.
Vivo Y53s 5G will go on sale in China on June 11th. The smartphone will be available in two versions: 8/128 GB for $ 281 and 8/256 GB for $ 312. It is not yet clear whether the device will appear in other regions.
