The coronavirus was diagnosed in a journalist who visited the White House, the White House correspondents ‘ association said on Thursday.
According to her statement, the journalist, whose name was not disclosed, attended press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s briefings on July 6 and 8, and he has not been anywhere else in the White House recently.
The White House offered to help conduct the test to journalists who were at these briefings. Doctors assigned to the White House regularly test those journalists who are part of the Trump pool.
In the past, several White House employees were infected with the coronavirus and recovered safely.
