Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel played together again in the penultimate part of Fast and the Furious. The action franchise was originally planned to be released on the big screen in mid-2020, but the pandemic pushed back the timing of the premiere. Now the creators hope that fans will see the “fastest movie” by the end of 2021.
The plot of the new “Fast and the Furious” is kept in the strictest confidence, not allowing even the slightest leaks, but the name of the director and the cast are known. The ninth part of the film will be directed by Justin Lin, who worked on four episodes of Fast and the Furious. It is also known that, to the delight of fans, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez will reunite on the screen.
“The love story of our heroes is the greatest love story we’ve ever seen in a movie,” Vin Diesel told Entertainment Weekly.
Recall that Rodriguez and Diesel met on the set of one of the parts of “Fast and the Furious”, feelings flared up between them, but the stars were not together for long: the couple broke up a few months later. Michelle became the initiator of the break.
