Venezuela’s oil Minister has contracted a coronavirus

Tarek El Aissami, Vice President for the economy and oil Minister of Venezuela, said that he had contracted the coronavirus.

“I started isolation today by all medical protocols after I tested positive for COVID-19,” he wrote on Twitter.

On Thursday, it became known that the head of the national constituent Assembly of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, also contracted a new coronavirus. COVID-19 was also found in the Governor of the state of Zulia, Omar Prieto.
