An eleven-year-old boy hijacked a school bus in the American city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the police began to chase him and detained him, the local television channel WBRZ reports, citing police.
On Sunday morning, a child allegedly got on a bus in the northern part of town and was able to start it. The police started chasing the hijacked bus around 11:00 local time. After about half an hour, the bus crashed into a gas pipeline and then into a tree.
The police surrounded the bus, took the hijacker out of the bus, and handcuffed him. The boy was detained in a juvenile detention center on several charges, including car theft and aggravated violence. In this case, the police said, we are talking about the fact that the attacker “deliberately tried to crash into the vehicle.”
