US Vice President Mike Pence will meet with Republican senators on a closed-door lunch on Tuesday, his first meeting with fellow party members since US President Donald Trump’s “defeat” in the election, Hill newspaper reports.
Told @VP Team Today, “it ain’t over til it’s over.. and this AIN’T over!” President @realDonaldTrump has never stopped fighting for us and we’re gonna Keep Fighting until every LEGAL vote is counted! 🇺🇸

Earlier, the Politico newspaper reported that Pence disappeared from sight, which caused confusion among Trump’s associates. The vice president has not been in the public domain since around November 5, when he called for all votes to be counted, but several entries appeared on Pence’s Twitter Monday.
Lunch comes amid the refusal of most GOP senators to urge Trump to admit defeat. Pence tweeted Monday that “all is not lost” as the American leader continues to struggle.
Later on Tuesday, the vice president is expected to travel to Sanibel Island, Florida, on vacation, where he will remain until Saturday.
