US transported IS terrorists to its base in Syria

US Army helicopters have taken 40 IS terrorists out of Al-Hol prison in northeastern Syria in Al-Hasakeh province. The militants were taken to a US military base in Shaddadi, the Syrian state agency SANA reported, citing an informed source on the spot.

“Three helicopters of the US occupation forces, accompanied by three more attack helicopters, landed at the base in Shaddadi last night, there were about 40 IS terrorists on board, and they were taken from the Al-Hol prison, which is controlled by the SDF Kurdish militia,” the agency writes.

According to the agency, among the terrorists are two Iraqi citizens who held leadership positions in the group and were responsible for militants’ activities in Iraqi Mosul and later in Syrian Deir Ez-Zor.
