US sites have received warnings in connection with the sale of illegal opioids

Regulators continue to fight the opioid epidemic in the United States.

Management on sanitary inspection behind quality of foodstuff and medicines and the drug enforcement Administration have jointly sent letters to four online networks for illegally promoting unapproved versions of opioid drugs, the Agency said Monday.

Warnings were received by Divyata, Euphoria Healthcare, Dropship and Meds4U, which manage a total of 10 sites.

US regulators are currently struggling with rising opioid use, which in 2017 caused 47,600 overdose deaths.
