US military removed from Syria more than 40 fuel tankers with oil

The US military has removed a convoy of stolen oil and several covered trucks from Syria, the Syrian state agency SANA reported, citing knowledgeable sources on the spot.

“The US occupation forces have taken to Iraq a new convoy of 41 fuel tankers with a stolen Syrian network from the province of Al-Haseke through the unofficial Alwaleed checkpoint,” the agency writes.

The United States, led by an international coalition, under the pretext of fighting the Islamic State terrorist organization, launched a military operation in Syria. Later, with the support of local Arab-Kurdish armed formations, the American military took control of most of Al-Hasak, Raqqa and Deir Ez-Zor, the largest oil-gas fields of the Arab republic are located.
