US energy Secretary Perry intends to resign

US Energy Secretary Rick Perry has notified us President Donald Trump of his intention to resign soon. Bloomberg reported, citing two sources.
As the Agency emphasizes, the exact timing of Perry’s resignation is unknown. A spokeswoman for the Department of energy declined to comment.
The fact that Perry in November will announce his resignation previously wrote the publication Politico.

In 1989, he switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. He was elected Lieutenant Governor of Texas in 1998 and succeeded Governor George W. Bush, who was elected President in 2000. Perry was elected to full terms three times in 2002, 2006 and 2010.
