According to Gina Raimondo, the latest employment data in the country was worse than expected.
The United States still has a long way to go to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, as evidenced by the employment data released recently, which turned out to be worse than expected, Commerce Minister Gina Raimondo said on Sunday.
“I think we have a long way to go to recover from the pandemic,” said Raimondo, speaking on CBS.
Many Americans are still struggling, and the number of jobs is still 8 million fewer than it was before the pandemic.
“We are taking bold steps, but there is still a long way to go, and we need to go through it to help Americans find jobs,” the head of the Department of Commerce said.
