Ukraine is expecting deliveries of Mark VI boats from the United States

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the US approved the sale of up to 16 Mark VI patrol boats to Ukraine.

“The United States has approved the sale of up to 16 Mark VI patrol boats and related equipment to Ukraine. This will help the Ukrainian Navy to resist current and future threats on the Black and Azov seas, ” he said on his Twitter page.

Kuleba said that he highly appreciates the support of American partners. According to him, this is an important step that shows the growing trust between the US and Ukraine.

It is noted that six boats will be provided to Ukraine as part of US security assistance. The country will be able to purchase the remaining vessels using funds from the defense budget.
