Redan Ianintelligence has a fresh update on the upcoming second season of The Witcher. This time, insiders got hold of information that in the new episodes, viewers will meet a couple of important characters who appear in the fantasy cycle of the writer Andrzej Sapkowski.
One of the announced heroes is Jacob Fann. In the books, this is a crippled dwarf, forced to move in a wheelchair. Apparently, for this role, Netflix will invite an actor who will have a similar physical disability. Curiously, on Vimeo you can find a video with Ian Jay, which is auditioning for the role of Fann. In this video, Fann talks to another new character, Codringer. In the books, these two heroes act as companions, running their own law firm and detective agency. Being excellent detectives, they become Geralt’s assistants in tracking down his enemies.
Filming for the second season of The Witcher has already started. It is not yet known who exactly will play Jacob Fann and Codringer, but all the leading actors from the debut season will certainly return to their usual roles. The new series will premiere on Netflix over the next year.
