Twitter launches Spaces voice chats on Android and iOS app

Twitter has launched a useful new service called Spaces in its proprietary Android and iOS application.

Spaces is an analog of Clubhouse, which allows users of the social network to create group audio chats and communicate in them on various topics. Participants can respond to speakers with emojis and can also join discussions. In the future, the developers plan to expand the capabilities of the service.

So far, only account holders with 600 followers or more can create audio rooms on Twitter. Perhaps this restriction will be removed later.

By the way, Twitter started testing Spaces back in December 2020. Since then, it has only been available to a limited number of users.
