Twitter is testing the function of negative evaluation of comments

The service support service noted that the new button does not perform the “dislike” function.

The social network Twitter has started testing the button for a negative evaluation of comments on publications. This was announced by the support service of the social network.

“Some of you on [the operating system] iOS could see several options for a positive or negative evaluation of responses [to tweets]. We are testing this function to understand which answers in the discussion you are interested in. This way we will be able to find a way to show you more similar answers,” the message says.

The service support service stressed that the negative rating button does not perform the “dislike” function. Negative ratings are visible only to those who left them, while positive ones are displayed as “like” marks and are visible to all users. As part of testing, users ‘ voices do not affect the order in which responses are displayed under the record.
