Turkey has started human trials of its coronavirus vaccines

According to the Health Minister, the human trial phase of one of the three vaccines may be completed in the next 7-10 days.

Turkish Health Minister informed President Tayyip Erdogan that three new-type coronavirus vaccines of his production had been tested in humans. The Anadolu Agency reports this.

At the same time, according to him, the phase of human trials of one of the vaccines may be completed in the next 7-10 days. In response, the Turkish President expressed hope that “production of its vaccine and its use in humans will soon begin.”

Meanwhile, back in mid-September, Minister did not rule out that the third phase of testing of the Russian coronavirus vaccine might begin in Turkey. Still, so far, Turkish officials have not reported anything about this.
