“The elections are not over yet. Counting and collection of ballots continue throughout the country,” he said at a press conference.
He also said that Trump’s headquarters filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania and noted that this is the first step in the process.
“We have the right to investigate violations, we have the right to observe the counting of votes. We believe that this lawsuit will bring us one step closer to closing the gap in the difference in votes in Pennsylvania,” he added.
In turn, the press secretary of the White House Kayleigh Makinani also stressed that the Republicans want honest and fair vote counting, “maximum transparency.”
“We want every legitimate vote to be counted, and every illegal vote not counted,” she said.
