Trump’s recent visit to the medical center has sparked speculation on social media.
Donald Trump’s medical examination was a “routine procedure” and the US President was not treated for any urgent problems or acute illnesses, his doctor said in a statement.
Trump’s surprise visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday raised questions on social media as it took place months before the President’s annual physical, which he has held in the past.
“Contrary to speculation, the President did not have chest pains, nor was he examined or treated for any urgent or acute problems,” Trump’s physician, US Navy commander Sean Conley, said in a memo released by the White House.
“In particular, he did not undergo any specialized cardiac or neurological examinations,” Conley noted.
