Trump wished Woods a speedy recovery after a car accident

Former US President Donald Trump wished golfer Tiger Woods a speedy recovery from an accident.

“Get well soon, Tiger. You are a real champion!” – said in a statement Trump, which was quoted on Twitter by his adviser Jason Miller.

Fifteen-time Major Tournament winner Tiger Woods, an American golfer, was injured in a car accident, suffered multiple leg injuries and required surgery, the Associated Press reported earlier, citing the athlete’s manager.

The incident took place Tuesday morning in Los Angeles. Woods was reportedly the only person involved in the accident. The golfer’s car crashed and overturned, causing serious damage. The athlete was alone in the car; he was removed from the passenger compartment using hydraulic scissors and taken by ambulance to the hospital.
