The Supreme Court will hear the case on the affordable care act in the fall.
US President Donald Trump said that his administration would seek through the Supreme Court to repeal the law on healthcare reform, adopted under President Barack Obama and called “Obamacare,” continuing a comprehensive offensive against this law in the face of a pandemic.
This fall, the Supreme Court will hear a case on the claim of several Republican-led States that believe that the affordable care Act lost its legal force after Congress canceled its tax penalty for not having health insurance.
The Ministry of Justice had to submit its summary of the case no later than Wednesday. Trump told reporters on Wednesday that his administration will stick to its position.
“Obamacare is a disaster that we have made almost intolerable,” Trump said.
