Trump will move the Republican Convention from North Carolina

The state government refused to guarantee that the party would be able to hold a full forum in his state.

President Donald Trump has said that he will look for another state to host the GOP Convention because North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper refused to guarantee that restrictions on coronavirus will not affect the forum where the party’s official presidential nominee will take place.

“Governor Cooper is still in’ stay at home ‘mode and is not allowing us to occupy the sports and entertainment complex as originally intended and promised,” Trump wrote in a series of tweets. – We have to look for another state that will host the 2020 national Republican Convention.”

Earlier, Cooper said that he would not give the President and his party a “guarantee” that the party would be able to hold a full-scale Convention in Charlotte, explaining this for health reasons.
