Trump was ordered to pay $2 million in a lawsuit to his charities

The Trump Foundation raised $2.8 million and gave it to the campaign staff in 2016. But after that, all the funds went to charity, and the court agrees. However, the transfer of funds to the headquarters itself is recognized as a violation of the law. The US President must pay $2 million “in damages for breach of Trustee duties.”

Previously, Trump has repeatedly accused the New York authorities of political bias and said he intends to win the case. So far, he has not responded to the court order.
