The President of the United States Donald Trump offers not only Ukraine but also China to investigate the former US Vice President Joe Biden and members of his family. The head of state told reporters.
According to him, Beijing should begin to study the situation, because “what happened in China is about as bad as what happened to Ukraine.” At the same time, the American leader indicated that he had not made such a request to Chinese President XI Jinping. “But surely we can start thinking about it,” Trump added.
Trump’s statement looks unusual amid the ongoing trade war between the United States and China.
After the President’s words, a Biden campaign spokeswoman pointed out that the American leader “desperately clings to conspiracy theories that have been disproved by credible news organizations.”
Earlier, the American leader called the impeachment procedure initiated by Democrats in Congress a coup.
On October 1, the head of the Republican majority in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, noted that the upper house of the US Congress would have to raise the issue of Trump’s removal from office if the House of Representatives voted for it.
