Trump urged to stop the recount of votes in Georgia

US President Donald Trump has called for a stop to the manual recount of votes in Georgia until the signatures’ verification begins.

“Manual recount (of votes), which is happening in Georgia — is a waste of time. They don’t show matching signatures. Cancel the recalculation until they allow you to verify signatures. Don’t let the radical left-wing Democrats steal your victory in the election! ” – Trump wrote on his Twitter page.

However, his tweet is marked with a note: “It is a statement about fraud in the elections contested.”

Earlier, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger reiterated the possibility of a manual recount of votes in the presidential election.

The difference between Joe Biden, who announced his victory, and the current US President Donald Trump in Georgia does not exceed 15,000 votes out of about 5 million ballots. The state will give to the winner of the 16 electoral votes. According to US media, if he wins in Georgia, Trump will still not become the next head of state.

The US presidential election was held on November 3, but the winner has not yet been officially named. Some states are still counting votes. Nevertheless, the American media give the victory to Joe Biden — according to Fox News, he gets 290 electoral votes, Trump-232.

Biden himself has already declared victory in the election. The heads of many states congratulated him.

Trump also claims that the election is far from over and intends to defend the victory in court. However, he admitted that he might not stay in the White House for a second term.
